The best description that I've ever heard of Brian, the lead singer of the Junk Boys and a dear friend of mine, is that he's the type of person who, no matter what, whenever you see him, puts you in a good mood. The same goes for the other members of the band, in my experience, so I was more than happy to help when they approached me about making a music video for their upcoming release in 2016. Any gig with guys like that is a joy to be involved in. Beer and pizza and a NY autumn evening only added to what I now consider a happy memory. The band have since broken up, reformed, and disbanded again, but you can still find their music at:

Some time after I helped him with The Men's Pearly Gates music video, Brian asked if I might want to make a video for his solo project, which was a bit of an aesthetic departure for him. Small, intimate, and a bit anachronistic, the song all but begged me to use my old Ikegami tube camera and a single chamber. I think I'd hoped that people would happen upon it online and wonder when it was made. Whether or not that's the case, I enjoyed the making and have been pleased with the result. Brian still churns out tunes as fast as they come into his head. You can find them and more at:
